Hashmark designed and built the full Bakeman operations platform — admin portal, API, database, deployment infrastructure, and ongoing delivery for catalog, ordering, fulfillment, and reporting across kitchen and branch teams.
A multi-branch bakery chain needed to replace manual branch-to-kitchen ordering with one reliable system — a searchable bilingual catalog, structured order submissions with priorities and attachments, and real-time visibility for kitchen, branch, and leadership teams across hundreds of products.
The Challenge
Production and branch teams were coordinating orders through informal channels. There was no single catalog source of truth, inconsistent priority handling, limited fulfillment tracking, and no consolidated reporting across locations — making it difficult to scale operations or audit activity.
Our Solution
Hashmark delivered a production-ready operations platform with a React admin portal and Express API on PostgreSQL. Kitchen teams manage a hierarchical bilingual catalog; branch staff place structured orders through a guided wizard; kitchen and delivery roles advance orders through a full lifecycle with conversation threads. Superadmins get analytics, printable reports, audit logs, and page-level access control.

Hierarchical category management and a searchable item catalog with bilingual names, unit types, rates, and active/inactive status across the full bakery product range.
Branch Ordering System
A multi-step order wizard with catalog search, priority tagging, reference image uploads, specialty weight handling, and order status tracking from submission to delivery.
Kitchen Fulfillment & Delivery
An order inbox with approve, reject, and clarify actions, fulfillment status progression, a delivery queue, and per-order conversation threads for branch-kitchen coordination.
Analytics & Reporting Engine
Dashboard KPIs, fulfillment gauges, branch breakdown charts, and printable category reports with bilingual and date-range filters for operations leadership.
